Kempinski Hotels, commonly referred to simply as Kempinski, is one of the oldest luxury hotel brands operating in Europe. Beginning with its first location in Germany in 1897, this hotel chain has grown to feature over 70 five-star hotels and residences in more than 35 different countries.

It also features properties located across many of the other central and eastern European nations including 4 in Turkey, 3 in Switzerland, and 2 in Austria.
The Kempinski brand is also well represented in the Middle East. Within the United Arab Emirates, it has 3 properties in Dubai and another that is located in nearby Palm Jumeirah. Other properties in the region include 3 in Egypt and Jordan, and 2 in each of Qatar and Kenya. In the Caribbean and Central America, it has 3 hotels in Cuba, and another that is based in Cancun, Mexico.
