Radisson: A hotel chain for business and leisure travelers
Radisson is a large, international and multi-branded hotel chain offering more than 1,000 properties for its guests worldwide. Its brands include the namesake Radisson brand, Radisson Blu, Park Inn by Radisson, Radisson Individuals, Radisson Collection and Radisson Red brands. It also includes Country Inn and Suites and Prizeotel, or Prize by Radisson, as part of its chain of hotels.
Many of Radisson’s hotel properties are located nearby to downtown city centers, major airports and other popular spots for entertainment, including stadium venues and tourist attractions.
This hotel chain is known for its cozy room experiences. Its hotel rooms on average tend to be smaller than some other popular hotel chains. Yet its modern in-room amenities that include smart TVs, USB ports and charging stations, free and fast Wi-Fi speeds, and 24-hour room service have helped to make it a popular choice for both leisure and business travelers.
The Radisson hotel brand has a strong reputation for offering state of the art business meeting rooms that are great for hosting presentations and conferences. Guests staying at this hotel chain can look forward to getting a complimentary breakfast, on-site dining, and at most of its locations a fitness centre with gym, steam room, sauna and in some cases, indoor pool.

Country Inn Suites is Radisson’s middle-class brand for business and leisure travelers in the United States. It is popular for its complementary hot breakfast menus, free Wi-Fi, large shared common areas, and business centers that include access to computers and printers.
The Radisson hotel chain also operates a Sports Approved program for professional athletes and sports teams. Endorsed by the International Sports Travel Agencies Association, this program includes discounts for group bookings, a flexible cancellation policy, pre-blocked rooms with upgrades available for VIPs, and special accommodations for dietary and nutritional needs.

Radisson’s hotels including the Park Inn by Radisson are primarily in Europe, and in the major cities of the Middle East, Africa and Asia. Its Prizeotel chain is mainly based in Germany and other parts of Central Europe, including Vienna, Austria. The Radisson Individuals and Collections chains meanwhile are mostly found throughout the major cities of Europe, the Middle East, Central America, and Asia including three Collections hotels in Shanghai.
In 2022, Radisson sold more than 600 of its hotels belonging to the Radisson Americas to Choice Hotels International. It did however retain approximately 80 properties located throughout the United States, Canada, and the Caribbean. These have since been rebranded as part of the Radisson Hotel chain including the Radisson Blu Americas in Bloomington, Minnesota which is directly connected to the Mall of America. The Country Inn and Suites hotel chain is almost exclusively based in the United States. It also includes some select properties in the southern parts of Canada and in Costa Rica.
